Aids and Infographics are a great way to demonstrate relationships
between content, display order of 'how to' when info does not need to
be committed to memory, and create subtle reminders of teachable
moments.
This Job Aid was created for students who were enrolled in an online cosmetology elective course. This project based course used videos to deliver the content, and I created a style guide as a quick reference tool to help students recall the main points of each video.
This Job Aid was used to help assist newly hired technicians with conducting routine Network Closet tasks. This visual was used to demonstrate multiple means of representing content. Videos and Powerpoint presentations were created with the same message. Technicians preferred the Video representation
This Infographic was used in a professional development course for educators looking to take their courses online. The topic of Engagement is always a hot button issue in e-Learning and this graphic helped learners visualize psychological vs physical engagement.
